Inspiration for Mogli's music came from glaciers in Alaska and in the jungle of Mexico, on mountain peaks and in the desert, and the results are haunting. Some songs on debut album Wanderer (2017) incorporate the epic vastness and depth of nature while others are like a window to her inner self. The melancholic songs of the singer from Hamburg, Germany are often arranged with bold drums, timbals and choirs, but her folky melodies often only need a grand piano. With her fragile yet intense voice Mogli takes you to far away places.
