The band Muck from Reykjavík are scholars of everything heavy and raw, marrying slow and crushing post-metal and sludgy hardcore with scathing drama, mournful melodies and melancholy. Speedy bursts of European 'screamo' were then injected into the mix and, over a couple of years, this amalgamation of sources of stimulation was tweaked, stretched and re-animated.
