Naima Joris’s debut EP has a very powerful message, but with minimal use of words. It's just five songs, pure and reduced to the essence. Dark, intense songs that try to process the pain and sorrow of losing someone that you love. Naima only started singing when she was 27. After backing Isbells and Raymond van het Groenewoud, her father - famed Belgian jazz musician Chris Joris - asked her to further explore her voice as a lead vocalist. This untitled EP is the first glimpse into her gripping repertoire.
