Under the moniker Oaktree, talented Antwerp-based producer Adriaan de Roover creates ethereal vignettes from sparse beats, cut-and-paste samples and deft live instrumentation. When he started studying music production, De Roover found a mentor in the form of Arne Van Petegem, better known as Styrofoam. From that point on, De Roover's interest shifted towards electronic music in the vein of Nicholas Jaar, Bonobo and Four Tet.
