Formed in the summer of 2012, Odd Hugo is internationally acknowledged for its mellow folk, heart-rending poetic soundscapes and hypnotic live performances. The band has been described as a bit like Andrew Bird, Jack White and Beirut blended together, and consequently has won rave reviews for its music, and was awarded the Skype Go Change The World Award in 2014.
