Omiri is one of the most unique music projects in Portugal. It aims to reinvent traditional music by bringing musicians and sounds from all around the country to serve as a basis for Vasco Ribeiro Casais' compositions and improvisation. Omiri remixes the culture of the 21st century, like drum 'n bass and breakbeat, with the rhythm and balance of traditional dances and music, also mixing rural sounds with the language of urban culture.
