Otis Mensah is a Berlin-based interdisciplinary artist whose work spans literature and sound. He explores the aesthetic structure of language and cadence to evoke ethereal portraits of the body, the family, and the ideas of the Black church. Inspired by a rich tradition of sampling as an approach to poetic-sonic practice, Otis's debut album was released in early 2025, whole follow-iup Black Honey, a layered, jazz-influenced album, is scheduled for release in 2026.
