Otto Club is a live electronic ensemble consisting of five KORG MS-20 synthesizers and a drummer. The Dutch six-piece embraces a fully live approach, where each synthesizer plays only one note at a time, creating a single polyphonic instrument from five independent voices. Vocals and narrative lyrics in German and English are an integral part of the music, rooted in songs where voice and synthesizers merge into one cohesive whole. Driven almost entirely by analogue synths, the band's sound is warm, fluid, and surprisingly organic, enhanced to an immersive audiovisual performance by Paolo Hamann.
