OWLLE
ESNS: 2014
The French have a knack for making Lolita-like pop singers and Owlle could be next in line. This red haired chanteuse writes dreamy electro-pop songs with a sensual touch. She wrote the demos for her first EP, Ticky Ticky on an omnichord, an instrument that looks like a mix between a harp and a keyboard, and took them to Bat For Lashes producer David Kosten. Depeche Mode was so impressed by her sound that they asked her to do a remix of their song Heaven and the French label, Kitsuné featured her song, Free on one of their popular compilations.
