:papercutz is the electronic pop project of Portugese producer Bruno Miguel, which has evolved into a fully-fledged act with vocalist Catarina Miranda and (live) percussionist Gonçalo Lemos. Their music soon saw them going from gothic Porto to shows all over Europe, Asia and the US, where they played SXSW. They love analogue synths, pop vocals, intense percussion, cinematic piano ambience and a careful balance between acoustic and electronic sounds on their tracks. On their next album they plan to explore more African folk percussion and dark electronics.
