Perija is a growing concept which symbolizes equality, empathy and acceptance. The four members from Macedonia express their emotions in a dark-folk, oriental sensibility full of female energy. The mystery of nature opens the path to music and to explore the past and future. That evokes a process of change, and that is exactly why the group sings in different languages (Bulgarian, Albanian, Serbian, Turkish) and plays instruments that connect east and west. Perija toured through Europe to promote their two albums at street, radio and club shows.
