Petra Firbasová was born in Slovakia. She began playing piano at age five and moved to Amsterdam after high school, where she left college to dedicate herself to her craft. She now lives in London. Drawn to individuality and unconventional expression, Petra has built a world of her own - exploring themes such as existentialism, surrealism, female madness, sadness, love, and self-image, all touched with a hint of nihilism. She is influenced by psychological horror films, the work of David Lynch and painters Salvador Dalí and Egon Schiele.
