Pieter de Graaf is not a pianist who likes to be limited by boundaries. His creative urge for freedom is too great and his restless soul is too eager to explore. ‘Equinox’ – the title stands for a turnaround, but also balance – was the logical sequel to Pieter's previous successful solo releases, among which the EP ‘Vortex’ for which he won an Edison in 2020 in the category Neoclassical. His latest milestone, the 2022 EP ‘Home’, is the sound of reconciliation of body and mind.
