Ploegendienst
ESNS: 2019
Ploegendienst like to kick hard. Against the masses, closed doors and public transit ticket gates. Literally. Figuratively the band wants to destroy every stage as quickly as possible. Musically it’s somewhere between 80s hardcore punk and thrash. The Dutch lyrics are mostly about the great discomforts of life: tourist terrorism, broken iPhones and the system via compact, loud as hell punk songs that make you scream along instantly. Singer Ray Fuego mercilessly involves the audience, while, the band (with members of Aux Raus and Adolf Butler) pounds along at a relentlessly high tempo.
