Since 2013, the multidisciplinary collective QuinzeQuinze produces climactic, colourful and insular music carried by the Tahitian heritage of two members. By bringing together ancestral ōrero (Polynesian oratory art), traditional percussive instruments (to'ere, steel drum), South American and Caribbean influences (candombe, calypso), and futuristic electronic productions, QuinzeQuinze gives life to a singular and timeless narrative style. With their music these contemporary storytellers immerse the listener in the Polynesian legend of the creation of the world, which they reinterpret through evocative poetry.
