From moving to raw, the voice of rapper and singer Raw Roets - a.k.a. Cyrano Kout – is one the most exceptional in modern Dutch music. Roets is a local artist who effortlessly switches between two expressive extremes: the raw Roets and the more gentle Cyrano. His music is the result of much heart-searching as he reflects upon his sometimes grey surroundings, all the while dreaming in colour. His sound is characterised by honest, gripping lyrics, couched in spacious productions.
