RuthAnne started singing and writing songs at just eight years-old, performing in musical theatre productions throughstage school as well as karaoke bars. Inspired by the likes of Lauryn Hill and Alicia Keys, RuthAnne's 2017 solo debut found the missing link between gritty nineties R&B and seventies songwriter storytelling. For the girl from Dublin who has won a bunch of awards since 2007, by penning music for Britney Spears, JoJo, Martin Garrix, Zedd and others, it was clearly time to pursue her own material.
