Very rarely has anyone ever received so much praise on tv as this singer did when she was one of the contestants in The Voice Of Holland. The track she sang during the auditions quickly became a number one hit. It was only just the beginning; the next four singles all shot to the top of the charts. Sandra van Nieuwland turned out to be a sensation, with chart success not only in The Netherlands but also in Belgium, Spain and Luxembourg. Her debut album And More was released at the end of 2012 and held the number one position in the album charts for 7 weeks. When she released follow up Banging On The Doors Of Love a year later, her debut album was still in the charts. It did not prevent the follow up from shooting straight into the top 5 the week of the release.
