Uomo universale and pop artist Sef (Yousef Gnaoui), released his fifth studio album in February. The album is described as "a hopeful scream for system change and a search for new, dynamic ways of being together" and named by alternative music platform 3voor12 as the best Dutch album of 2023. The year was also dominated by a theater tour with the El Salvador Ensemble, with which Sef is performing his fourth album and also visits Noorderslag.
