In January 2022 Ade Martin, until then known as the bassist for Madrid indie rockers Hinds, emerged under the moniker of Shanghai Baby. On her debut ‘EP01’ she takes us through the themes of young adult life in a vulnerable and striking way, and with a classic indie rock feeling. In her songs the seemingly nonchalant vocals contrast with an abundance of energy and hooks.
