shoom approaches music like a fever dream, driven by restless rhythms, loud guitars and unrestrained saxophone lines. The five-piece began in 2022 with a series of intimate living room shows, laying the groundwork for a live reputation built on intensity and spontaneity. Since then, shoom has travelled across the Netherlands during Popronde and toured internationally, including the UK, Denmark at SPOT Festival and the Balkan region with ChangeOver Belgrade. Drawing from a wide spectrum of influences, from black midi and Charlie Parker to Clube da Esquina and Talking Heads, shoom moves freely between genres with a playful and uncompromising edge.
