shoom’s bizarre jazz-punk will suck you into a fever dream. Driven by restless rhythms, loud guitars and unrestrained saxophone lines, their live shows are a whirlwind of chaos, unexpected turns and organised cacophonies. Drawing on black midi and Charlie Parker, Clube da Esquina, and Talking Heads, shoom moves freely between genres with a playful, uncompromising edge. In 2026, the Groningen band did their first UK headlining tour, played shows in France, Germany and Czechia, and recorded their debut album, which is set to release in 2027.
