Silvurdrongur is a Faroese multi-artist who combines wild, unpredictable performances with a shamanistic catharsis on stage. The music is a combination of club, hip-hop, punk and noise rock which can be aptly named "extinction punk" due to its thematic dealings with apocalyptic subject matter – as well as its overall vibe. Silvurdrongur released a new album last summer to rave reviews from big outlets such as The Fader: "... the album threads this needle with wondrous, hypnotic soundscapes that provide a strange, disarming setting for Silvurdrongur’s venomous bars."

Silvurdrongur also plays an ESNS EXTRA showcase (delegates only) at the Faroe Music Export (FMX) and G! Festival Showcase, on Thursday, January 15, from 19:00-19:30.
