Growing up surrounded by the stunning scenery of the island of Stord, Hilde Skaar knew early on she wanted to pursue a career in music. Now SKAAR is an artist with one foot firmly placed in commercial pop and the other in an alternative/indie universe. Having written music for the Netflix series 'Home for Christmas', and two motion pictures, the 23 year-old Norwegian alt-pop artist has the ability to become a major international impact.
