Smudged is a thunderous demonstration of musical freedom. Emerging from the depths of the Rotterdam club scene, the quartet weaves together Krautrock, noise punk, electro-pop and techno in an unprecedented way. Their shows systematically unfold into new forms of madness and chaos, with frontman, drummer and professional daredevil Bart Hoogvliet leading the charge. Just as legendary on major festival stages as they are in small DIY basements. The recent EP ‘Live at Far Out Sound’ gives a great taste of the exhilarating Smudged madness.
