“This is not a band, it’s just a soft launch.” Meet the new ‘Irish’ boyband’. Ok, Soft Launch are not entirely Irish, but formed in the UK out of five members bringing Irish backgrounds to the mix. So, what makes them a boyband? They all sing together, in perfect harmony, they all write, they swap instruments, they have their own songs and share ideas with others. They have crafted an eclectic mix of alternative indie pop and, in 2024, released a string of brilliant pop singles with an extra bite.
