Just 23 years old and Fred Macpherson is already a veteran being part of bands like Les Incompetents and Ox.Eagle.Lion.Man.. Spector is band #3. "A new kind of peculiarly English pop; pitched somewhere between Roxy Music and The Strokes, The Killers and Kanye, Sinitta and Sinatra", as they say themselves. Others only hear The Killers or try to brand Fred Macpherson as the new Jarvis Cocker. It has been said about this British five-piece that their songs ooze sex and joy and hope, all in three-and-a-half minutes.
