Tot Ziens, Justine Keller was the sensation in Dutch music this year. Its maker, Erik de Jong, has been praised extensively before. It's only his third album in almost ten years but he takes his time to sculpt and mold the songs until they are perfect. For many critics his latest release is one of the best ten albums this year. In 2007 he was awarded the Popprijs, one of the most important awards in Dutch popular music. Spinvis is a magnificent storyteller. He is also a musician who feels very much at home on stage. Together with his band some backing vocals and his stories, he can move any crowd. Spinvis made a lot of victims in The Netherlands, many are hopelessly hooked to his music.
