Releasing his first mixtape in the spring of 2015, hip hop/R&B artist Sturla Atlas quickly made a name for himself as one of Iceland's most exciting new acts. He became known for his energetic stage performance along with 101 Boys, kept releasing music and garnered support from the likes of i-D, Hillydilly and The Line of Best Fit. Sturla Atlas was named Newcomer of the Year at the Icelandic Music Awards and his latest mixtape SEASON2, a cleverly produced electronic R&B fest, has been justifiably well received.
