Sunnan is cinema and spaghetti soul; the manifestation of a new genre, praising classical aesthetics, and Morricone-esqe soundscapes. Five well-known Swedish musicians met during the pandemic in a barn in Sunnanhed. An encounter with a legend from Stockholm's 90s rave scene next door, sharing unorthodox instruments and eccentric philosophies, ignited the band’s founding creative process. And their cinematic journey has truly taken off since, with second album Cinema Sound System released in June 2025, followed by a remix EP in August.
