The lyrics of this singer-songwriter, who sings in a northern dialect of Dutch, are all about real life things like broken hearts, alcohol, broken clocks, farming, holidays and unemployment. Now after one and a half years, two regional hits, a video and some hundred live performances, Swinder has grown into a five-piece band, whose music veers between melancholic love songs and uptempo (folk) rock.
