TAPE TOY is crazy in a good way. This young talent is a favourite of leading Dutch music media and was one of the most booked bands of the Popronde 2018 talent course. And not without reason. Unhindered by hip or popular urges, the Amsterdam four-some happily set their own course, resulting in bouncy music with some heavy guitars, clever synths and weird twists. Add to that the energy of a racehorse and a bundle of ear-candy songs, and it’s clear that TAPE TOY is not ‘just another new band’.
