It was an accident. Team Me was a side project of Norwegian Marius Hagen. His music became very popular in a band contest on Norwegian radio. And then overnight a band had to be formed who could compete in the finals of the band contest in January 2010. Marius Hagen can't help it everyone likes his music. The Team Me EP is received with huge acclaim even when the debut album is yet to come. The band is picked up in the US, in England, in Scandinavia and in a lot of other places. They may sound like a fragile Sufjan Stevens song (listen to Fool) and they can be as irresistible as Arcade Fire (listen to Weathervanes and Chemicals). If there is one band you may call promising then it is Team Me. They have played The Great Escape in Brighton and Club NME in London. They are the support act for The Wombats and British Sea Power.
