The Flight, a young band from the Dutch city of Assen, cite John Mayer, Mark Knopfler, The Script and Kings of Leon as influences, alongside Rigby, Di-rect and Young The Giant, not forgetting the sort of proto-psychedelic bands at the original Woodstock. Despite their tender years, the band is doing well. They were the opening band at the Assen TT races music festival, giving a performance that was highly praised by several renowned Dutch radio DJ's. On top of that they've almost finished their first EP...and now there's Eurosonic.
