Joe Meek is a producer that is unknown by the general public, but loved by musicians. Thanks to his revolutionary productiontechniques the legacy of this British producer continues to influence bands, like The Hypnotic Eye from London. The five-piece was formed only two years ago and loves the reverbsound of Meek, as one can hear on their recently released debut album The Optical Sound Of The Hypnotic Eye. Their fuzzy garage rock is much appreciated by the BBC and Mark Ronson. Live, they transfer the audience back to London in 1968.
