Misper' is police slang for a missing person. This five-piece (four guys, one girl) sees itself as a collection of mispers and outcasts. They found each other last year, after frontmen Joey en Jack arrived back in London after a year long trip through Australia. They couldn't get a job Down Under, so they picked up a guitar and started busking in the streets. It's where the foundations for this indiefolk collective was laid. The emotionally charged voice of Jack immediately stands out, as does the violin and vocals of violin player and singer Hannah. Their sound is not unlike Mumford & Sons, the early Arcade Fire and Bombay Bicycle Club.
