It is no surprise that The Picturebooks recorded their 2014 album, Imaginary Horse, in the same garage in which they regularly refurbish and repair motorbikes and customise choppers. The German duo - Fynn Claus Grabke on vocals/guitar, and Philipp Mirtschink on drums - capture the very real, raw energy of the room's industrial 'vibe' and its natural reverb.
