Tourist LeMC is Johannes Faes' pseudonym, and on that stands for hip hop from Antwerp. Faes grew up in the infamous Seefhoek neighbourhood, which has partly helped shape who he is today, and his pseudonym is a clear and direct link to this multicultural environment. His debut album Antwerps Testament features songs about the neighborhood; in songs like Stuivenberg and Hulverlender, he raps about the reality of living in the streets of Antwerp using original and honest rhymes. His second album En Route was released earlier this year, and while Antwerp remains a source of inspiration, but on this album you also get to know Johannes himself.
