The heavy sound of Traversus passes through the regions of progressive rock and metal. The 4-piece group from the east of the Netherlands is inspired by bands like Dream Theater, Leprous, Trivium and Muse. Lead singer and guitarist Madelief de Groot voices sharp criticism of human behaviour and lays bare her own emotions. At the end of 2021 the band released their first songs, and are now working hard – guided by renowned metal producer Joost van den Broek – to finish the debut album that they will present at ESNS.
