TRIGAIDA intertwines Bulgarian folklore with modern electronic musical touches. Their debut album ‘Elate’ has a contemporary sound and offers a new reading of the Bulgarian musical heritage. The musicians use folklore motifs and traditional songs as a base for their compositions, rejuvenating the traditional sound with influences from popular electronic genres like drum ‘n bass, dubstep, trip hop while also adding whiffs of contemporary jazz, world music and neoclassical.
