In the time frame of just a year and a half, Amsterdam based band Twin Shades has made quite a name for itself with just a dozen shows and the release of one EP. Inspired by The Velvet Underground and The Brian Jonestown Massacre, this three-piece walks a thin line between psychedelic rock and garage rock. Their sound is drenched in reverb and their guitars are as sharp as razorblades. The five tracks on their self-titled debut EP each represent a different mood. The band has just finished a string of tour dates throughout Holland and is scheduled to release new material in 2014.
