As a singer, songwriter and activist, Victoria Canal’s voice powers her take on alternative pop and many social causes. Born in Munich to an American mother and Spanish father, she has lived everywhere from Shanghai, Tokyo and Amsterdam to London and Dubai. But it was in New York where legendary vocal coach Jan Smith (Drake, Usher) produced her debut in 2016, and then Beatnigs Michael Franti invited her on tour. Being born with one arm as a result of Amniotic Band Syndrome, Canal draws on an impassioned positivity. All this energy and boundless confidence course through her 2020 EP Victoria.
