Irish folk pop with great hit potential, based around lead singer-songwriter Patrick Sheehy. Walking On Cars is a five-piece from Southwestern County Kerry that deals in passionate, folk-influenced pop. The group won the Red Bull Bedroom Jam Competition in 2012, getting airplay for their first singles. In January 2016 the Irishmen released their debut album on Virgin/EMI. Everything This Way is full of piano-driven rock with grand sing alongs in the tradition of Snow Patrol and Coldplay. EBBA Award-winning single Speeding Cars is a prime example.
