It sounds fantastic: "indie-core music with its heart on its sleeve". The five guys from Drenthe that make up We Fall Slowly, take inspiration from bands like the Deftones, 30 Seconds To Mars and Face Tomorrow. They've got a hard but melodic sound that mixes the best elements of 90's alternative rock and 00's indie-rock. It's a melancholy sound that features both despair and hope. Since forming in October 2012, We Fall Slowly have won an important local band competition, played the Bevrijdingsfestival in Drenthe and released their debut single. There's a lot more to follow in 2014.
