British singer-songwriter (Will) Westerman makes low-key, atmospheric indie pop with a cerebral bent. The Londoner’s 2017 EP Call and Response EP featured more textured arrangements that added keyboards and electric guitar. It marked a shift away from gentle folk-pop into a space between 70s soft rock and contemporary bedroom electro-pop. He is set to release his debut LP Your Hero Is Not Dead on Play It Again Sam/Partisan (US/CA) in the spring of 2020.
