Xcellence is the electronic alias of Nikolas Papadopoulos. At 24, the restless creative is redefining the space where electronic and classical music collide. Nikolas began his journey at eight, eventually graduating with honours as a classically trained percussionist. From student to professor, and from soloist to composer, he has taken part in hundreds of classical concerts, with his orchestral works, and with 15-piece percussion ensembles. His hypnotic debut EP afterHOURS (2022) introduced his conceptual approach, and his latest “EP2” (2025, Sony Music) further cemented his reputation.
