XCES is a modular band/artistic collective from Bratislava bringing an audiovisual spectacle of the post-genre age, with an emphasis on topics such as information overload, social alienation, mental health, meme culture, meta-irony and Al. The Slovak group label themselves as post-genre and post-authorship collective, and upon closer inspection, their debut and their shows drift through electronica, doom metal, experimental rap, cinematic soundscape, right up to drone and noise territory.
