Yegor Zabelov is one of the most original accordionists in modern Belarusian music, a composer and an author of music for theatrical performances and movies. He founded the duo Gurzuf which played in the final of The Global Battle of the Bands in London (2007), received an honorary Sergei Kuryokhin Prize for Contemporary Art (St. Petersburg, 2010), and played many concerts in European clubs and festival venues. His music can be described as an experimental mix of accordion rock, avant-garde jazz and neo-classical music.
