The origins of the Dutch band Yellow House 21 are, somewhat unusually, in Ireland, the place where singer and guitarist Marco Buffing and drummer Luc Wessels found the musical direction for the band. Since then, singer and flute player Anne Gerlin Struijk and bass player Tim Schuurman have joined and the result is gorgeous popfolk. They have played at several local festivals including Noorderzon and Freeze, and they won the main regional talent contest. Next stop is Eurosonic, and after that a second EP. A busy schedule for these talents from the north of The Netherlands.
