A New European Vision on Touring: Taxation

In July 2023, the document “A New European Vision for Touring” was presented by 7 European organisations, IMPALA, FIM, EMEE, EMMA, LiveDMA, Liveurope and IAO. There are two tax topics mentioned: (1) Withholding tax and double taxation, and (2) VAT issues. These obstacle for touring will be discussed in this panel by Dick Molenaar with representatives from EMEE, EMMA, and IMPALA. Examples will also be given by Arjo Klingens of Mojo Concerts. What are the problems, which examples do we have and what solutions are available? How can we improve the tax rules?
